Easy way to edit Panasonic DMC-FZ1000 1080/60p AVCHD videos in FCP X on Mac

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1000 is a digital superzoom bridge camera by Panasonic. It features a 20 megapixel sensor and Leica-branded 25-400mm equivalent focal length lens with a maximum aperture of f/2.8 to f/4 (f/4 at about 170mm and higher), a 1 inch CMOS sensor and supports ISO film speeds from 80 to 25600, speeds from 1/16000s to 60s and RAW capture. The Panasonic FZ1000 is able to record 4K QFHD (3840 x 2160) video at 30p with a high bit rate of 100Mbps in the MP4 file format. Full HD 1080 video can also be recorded-at 60p, 30p, 24p, or 60i-in the AVCHD format.
